SPECIAL PRIZES


The Lifetime Achievement Award
The prize is awarded to only one author for his lifetime work and contribution to the field of the short subject film. The prize can be awarded posthumously. The prize is awarded by the Festival Council.

The Grand Prix
The prize is awarded to the author or the authors of the film that makes an outstanding contribution to the art of filmmaking (the film could be the best film of the Domestic Competition Program or the International Competition Program). The prize is awarded at a joint session of the Jury of the Domestic Competition Program and the Jury of the International Competition Program. In the likelihood that two films receive the same number of votes, the prize is awarded to the authors of both films.

The Festival Audience Award
The prize is awarded to the best film of both competition programs. The prize is awarded by the audience. The manner in which this is done is determined by the Festival Council.
